One in five employees have been left feeling worried in the workplace, while 23 per cent feel concerned – as a result of struggling with hearing difficulties.
Over a third of working adults (34 per cent) claim they have found it difficult to make out what is being said in meetings – due to people speaking in a quiet voice (33 per cent), mumbling (36 per cent), or background noise (38 per cent).
And over a fifth (22 per cent), of the 2,000 adults polled, revealed that they suspect they may have hearing loss – or, in fact, already know they have it.
