Two Australian internationals have praised Newcastle United's January signing Garang Kuol after the 18-year-old was included in the Socceroos World Cup squad.
The Magpies signed a pre-agreement in mid-September with the Central Coast Mariners where Kuol has found four goal involvements in his four appearances.
Kuol will be playing at St. James' Park after the World Cup ends so a good start to the tournament in Australia's three group stage matches against France, Tunisia and Denmark will hopefully get his foot through the door of manager Eddie Howe.

Speaking to Australian newspaper outlet The Age, Socceroos striker and World Cup teammate Mitchell Duke has been incredible impressed with the way Kuol has handled himself.
"He’s that X-factor, he’s an excitement machine. To see some of the stuff he’s doing at the moment at such a young age, consistently... I know he’s not started a game, but he’s consistently doing his performances off the bench.
"And that’s all you can ask of him when he plays: he does a job. So for us, against the teams that we’re playing against, to have that X-factor, I think is a huge plus for us. He can definitely flip the game on its head.
"You see some of the Mariners games where they’re 2-0 down, he’s coming on equalising the game with two goals or two assists, or he’s creating something, and that’s going to be massive for us, especially in such a big tournament."
Kuol is also one of three Sudanese-Australian players in the 26-man squad for the tournament alongside defender Thomas Deng and forward Awer Mabil.
Deng believes that the experience Kuol can get at such a big stage at such an early point in his career will be incredibly beneficial for when he comes to the Premier League.
"He’s just a wonderful kid, full of confidence,” said defender Thomas Deng, one of three Sudanese-Australians in the Socceroos squad along with Kuol and Awer Mabil.
"He’s come in here and everyone loves him. Everyone gets along with him. Me and Awer, we’ve just tried to look after him and make his transition a lot easier.
"I’m just so happy that he’s got this opportunity to experience a World Cup at 18 years old. It’s definitely going to better his career. I think he has a really bright future."
