Martin Boyle has returned to scoring ways for Hibernian but the Socceroo's sixth goal of the season in all competitions wasn't enough to stop Celtic's revival in the Scottish Premiership.
The Hibs skipper struck from the penalty spot in the second half to reduce Celtic's lead at Easter Road but interim boss Martin O'Neill continued his shake-up of the champions' season by overseeing a 2-1 win on Sunday.
Celtic's victory, earned by first-half goals from Daizen Maeda and Arne Engels, moved them to within two points of faltering leaders Hearts with a game in hand.
