The Santa Monica residence where Presley Gerber, 27, died on September 20 appeared to operate as a sober living home, a type of residence California does not require to hold the state license that addiction treatment centers need, NBC News reported. Gerber, the son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, had arrived at the home, Resolutions Living, around 10 p.m. the night before, according to NBC News.
His cause of death has not been determined. Police responded around 9:35 a.m. to a report of a possible overdose, and Santa Monica police have said there is no indication of foul play. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner completed an autopsy on September 21 but deferred a ruling on the cause and manner of death pending additional testing.
