A Glasgow MSP has been lambasted for claiming clinics "push abortion without laying out the pros and cons".

Jason Mason's recent support for anti-abortion vigils outside hospitals has sparked fury among pro-choice campaigners.

The SNP member, who represents Glasgow Shettleston, said abortion was "seldom essential or vital" after attending one of the controversial events.
