As a result, many schools are closed or operating on a delayed schedule, much to the delight of kids and the chagrin of parents.
The snowfall is not limited to New York City alone; Philadelphia and Washington D.C. are also bracing for substantial snowfall in the coming days. Additionally, further south, one individual in Memphis is taking advantage of the rare southern snowfall. Winter weather advisories have been issued from Louisiana all the way up to Maine due to the fluctuating mix of rain, snow, and icy conditions.
