Snow warnings sack sessions in Springfield — but Pritzker still plans to deliver ‘State of the State’ and budget address

Concerned about hazardous winter travel, state legislative leaders on Monday scuttled plans for in-person sessions of the House and Senate this week — but Gov. J.B. Pritzker is still planning to outline his budget proposal.

“The governor will still deliver his state of the state address,” spokeswoman Jordan Abudayyeh said in a brief statement. “Details will be forthcoming.”
