There is a high possibility of snow hitting Ireland very soon, according to recent weather charts.
Despite the surprisingly warm weather over the bank holiday weekend, It is likely that snow will fall in parts of the country in the next few weeks. A dramatic downturn in the weather system for November across the UK and Ireland has been forecast.
While October was warmer than May of this year, things are going to change very soon. Weather indicating model WX Charts show we won't have to wait long until the first flakes fall in the UK and Ireland.

According to the charts, Sunday November 13 is the date - with parts of Scotland seeing snow. That, at the moment, is set to progress southwestward, heading straight for Ireland.
But before that, Met Eireann have come in with their forecast for the first two weeks of November.
Week One - November 4 to November 10
It reads: "Week 1 will be unsettled, with low pressure dominant, generally positioned to the west of Ireland. Spells of wet and breezy or windy weather are likely to regularly move across Ireland from the west or southwest during this week. Rainfall accumulations will be above normal in all areas this week, highest totals along the western half of the country.
"Weather warnings are possible. Remaining mild for the time of year"
Week Two - November 11 to November 17
"In Week two, high pressure will begin to have more of an influence on Ireland’s weather, and signs show that high pressure will mainly be positioned to the south of the country this week. Ireland is predicted to be in a predominantly westerly airflow and some fronts will likely move in over the country at times, most active for western and northern areas. Overall, conditions will likely be more settled than that of Week 1"
While there is no snow expected in the coming days, Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow weather warning for wind and rain nationwide all day Wednesday.
The weather forecast suggests widespread gales and heavy rainfall will dampen most of the country, with a risk of localised flooding occurring in some places. Dublin will be affected by heavy thundery showers that originate in the west of the country.
However, the heavy rainfall is expected to subside from afternoon onwards in Dublin as rain clears off into the Irish sea. There will be a mixture of thundery showers and sunny spells, with highest temperatures ranging from 11C to 14C.
