Snow has fallen in parts of Nottinghamshire on Thursday evening after temperatures plummeted to below freezing. The MET Office is predicting more extremely cold temperatures over the next few days, with conditions predicted to fall to -2C over the weekend.
A light dusting of snow can be seen in parts of Radcliffe on Trent on Thursday, December 8 evening despite snow not being predicted by forecasters tonight.

Indeed, snow has not been forecast for Nottingham over the next week. BBC Weather is predicting snow to fall across Nottingham next Friday, December 16, however.
Friday's outlook for the whole county is forecasting extremely cold conditions for Friday morning (December 9). Temperatures are expected to drop to 0 but feel more like as low as -3C by 9am, according to the MET Office.
