A Northern Ireland woman says she was moved to tears after learning the meaning behind a random act of kindness.
On Thursday, Caitlin Foster took her daughter Lacey to Smyths Toys in Ballymena to pick up a toy with £10 the child had been gifted from her granny. But while they were in the store, Caitlin was approached by three members of staff, who handed her a gift voucher.
Explaining that they did not know the name of the woman who left the gift card in, staff did say that it was for £50 and that they were asked to give it to a child of pre-school age.
