NEW DELHI: Vice-captain of the Indian women's team Smriti Mandhana chose to focus on the positive rather than be concerned by the lack of a head coach for more than six months, claiming that the advice provided by a fresh group of coaching staff will be helpful.
Ramesh Powar was fired in December of last year, leaving the women's cricket team without a head coach ever since. Even without the leader of the coaching staff, the team was compelled to compete in the T20 World Cup in February.
