A smitten pensioner who faced jail after breaking his dementia -stricken partner and going on the run with her has died just two days after his long-time love.
Ralph 'Terry' Gibbs, 80, took girlfriend Carol Lisle, 84, from the nursing home in Mandurah, Australia, and drove her 3,000 miles to bring her home.
He drove her across the sweltering Outback to Queensland on January 4 because they could no longer be apart.
