Firefighters have released a picture of a car which was left damaged in a grass verge following a crash on the A52. The collision happened on the eastbound carriageway on Tuesday (March 15).
The incident happened near the Bardills Island, between Stapleford and Toton. Firefighters from the Stapleford Fire Station have released a photo of the aftermath of the collision.
The photos shows damage to the bonnet of the car. The incident caused delays to traffic and a lane was closed on the eastbound carriageway between junction 25 of the M1 (Nottingham / Derby) and the B6003 Toton Lane (Bardills Island, Stapleford).
Firefighters were called to another incident later on the same day, shortly before 11pm in Pasture Road, Stapleford. A statement on the Stapleford Fire Service Facebook page read: "Amazingly everyone walked away from this collision without injury. At both incidents firefighters made vehicles safe and handed over control of the scene to our partners."
People praised the emergency services in the comments section under the Facebook post. One wrote: "Glad they all walked away unscathed."
