Smart meter roll-out stopped in Yorkshire over ‘interference with nuclear warning system’

Energy bosses have been forced to stop rolling out smart meters in parts of Yorkshire because of interference with early warning systems for nuclear weapons.

People living near the RAF base Fylingdales have been refused the smart meter because its signals could clash with ballistic missiles radar equipment, reported the Telegraph.
