French prosecutors have opened a criminal investigation into suspected sexual harassment involving smart glasses, after complaints about women being filmed in the street without their knowledge and the footage being posted online.
The Paris prosecutor’s office said it had recently launched at least one investigation linked to a social media trend involving the devices. Prosecutors did not identify the make of glasses involved.
