A small passenger aircraft with 15 people on board crashed on Wednesday in a rural part of Colombia’s northeast, killing everyone on the flight, authorities said.
The plane went down in Norte de Santander province. Satena, the state-owned airline operating the flight, said local officials in the village of Curasica alerted authorities after spotting the crash site. Rescue teams were sent to the area, but there were no survivors.
