Slowing Pace of Ivory Coast Cocoa Deliveries Boosts Prices

March ICE NY cocoa (CCH26) today is up +83 (+1.97%), and March ICE London cocoa #7 (CAH26) is up +76 (+2.54%).

Cocoa prices are moving higher for a second session today as slowing cocoa deliveries to ports in the Ivory Coast have prompted short covering in cocoa futures.  Monday's cumulative data showed that Ivory Coast farmers shipped 1.23 MMT of cocoa to ports in the current marketing year (October 1, 2025, through February 1, 2026), down -4.7% from 1.24 MMT in the same period a year ago.  The Ivory Coast is the world's largest cocoa producer.
