Slow-motion footage of Julio Urias’s slurve pitch shows how unhittable it is

We’ve seen so many Major League pitches that, when you see them in slow motion, you have to wonder: How the heck do you even put a bat on these if you’re a hitter?

There’s Kodai Senga’s ghost fork in slow mo. How about Trevor Richards’ changeup? And then there’s Tyler Rogers’ submarine rising slider.

Let’s add Julio Urias and his slurve to the mix. Below, you can see a faster shot of the slower pitch in a different at-bat. But then there’s the pitch he threw to the Oakland A’s JJ Bleday that, in slow mo, is just ridiculous:
