Australia skipper Tom Slingsby concedes he would have preferred this weekend's SailGP grand final to be raced at a windier venue than Abu Dhabi.
San Francisco had hosted the high-speed sailing league's last three grand final races, with its famous summer winds conducive to foiling.
SailGP's F50 catamarans can reach speeds above 100km/h, but only when heavy wind lifts boats onto their foils out of the water.
