New York bid to reach the final of the Connacht SFC for the first time when they take on Sligo at Markievicz Park on Saturday afternoon.
If they manage to cause another upset, they’ll also enter the Sam Maguire All-Ireland round-robin series later this summer.
It would be a remarkable story for Johnny McGeeney’s side, who knocked out Leitrim in the quarter-final after a penalty shootout in Gaelic Park earlier this month.

Their famous win in the Bronx has earned them a shot at creating even more history and McGeeney will come head-to-head with another South Armagh native as Sligo are managed by Crossmaglen’s Tony McEntee.
McGeeney originally hails from the neighbouring village of Culloville and when he last played for his native club they were managed by Tony’s twin brother John.
Sligo defeated New York in Gaelic Park last season, but they were given an almighty scare and had only four points over their opponents.
