Sligo and Cavan clash in the Tailteann Cup this weekend as both sides look to book their place in the first-ever final of this competition.

The newly-formed second tier competition has thrown up some interesting affairs, and Sligo's recent scuffle with Leitrim served as a perfect example of the kind of drama this competition could offer up in the coming years.

The sides could not be separated after 70 minutes and two 10 minute periods of extra-time did nothing to put one ahead of the other, with Leitrim's 2-16 matched by Sligo's haul of 1-19.
