Sligo Rovers secure permanent transfer of New Zealand international

Sligo Rovers Nando Pijnaker New Zealand Sligo

Nando Pijnaker is returning to Sligo Rovers after they struck a permanent deal with Portuguese top flight side Rio Ave.

A current New Zealand international with 11 caps, the centre-back enjoyed a solid first season at the Showgrounds in 2022 having arrived on loan.

‘’I’m delighted Nando has agreed to sign on a permanent deal,” said Bit O’Red boss John Russell.
