NEW DELHI: Once hailed as Indian cricket’s next big thing, Prithvi Shaw has hit a rough patch in his career. The 25-year-old batter, who made his mark as a fearless stroke player, has found himself sidelined, both at the domestic and international levels. After going unsold in the IPL 2025 mega auction despite setting a base price of Rs 75 lakh, Shaw faced further setbacks as he was left out of Mumbai's Vijay Hazare Trophy and Ranji Trophy squads.
But despite the challenges, those who know him closely believe that Shaw's career is far from over. Punjab Kings all-rounder Shashank Singh, who has played alongside Shaw in Mumbai for over a decade, recently shared his thoughts on how the young batter can bounce back.
