People working from home have been left confused this afternoon as work communication platform Slack appears to have crashed for users across the globe.
According to TechRadar, the issue began around 2pm on Tuesday 22 February, 2022, with users in multiple continents reporting issues.
Users have reported that messages have been disappearing and not sending, images are not showing and files and links are unable to be uploaded to the site.
The issues seem to be inconsistent, with different users experiencing various issues but they do all appear to be present on a variety of platforms - with outage occurring on apps, on the desktop site and on both Android and Apple products.

Slack’s status page is showing everything as operational, but even from Edinburgh Live's end, that does not look to be the case.
One Twitter user wrote: "Slack is down. We're all free. Run for your lives."
"Does Slack being down mean i don't have to work today?", another added.
Many users had come onto Twitter to see if the app was down in order to ease their fears that they had in fact been sacked - "Anyone else come to Twitter to see if Slack is down or if they'd been fired?" wrote Yasmin Atherton.
