Customers who are with Sky TV could see an extra change added to their account after the provider made some changes.
This means that some Sky customers, from November 29, will be charged an additional £5 a month for skipping adverts.
New customers who purchase Sky Glass and Sky Stream packages will be charged the fee if they skip ads when watching live TV.

In addition to new customers, existing customers who were given the free add-on for a 12 or 18 month period will also see them being charge the fee after their free trial has come to an end.
Depending on when you signed up to their services, you may have a little while yet before the period comes to an end.
The Sky Glass service was first launched in Autumn last year, meaning lots of customers who signed up at the start will have finished their contract or be coming to the end of their initial deals shortly. Sky Stream was launched earlier this year, meaning current contract holders will have a little longer until the charge potentially impacts them.
What is the Ad Skipping service?
The add-on allows Sky Glass and Sky Stream customers to skip live TV. It allows viewers to skip fast forward through the ads using the relevant remote control buttons and on screen menu,
To skip the ads when a commercial break begins, customers can simply press the microphone button on their sky remote and say ‘fast forward three minutes’. This will take you past the ads without having to hold down the fast-forward button and wait for them to skip by.
How to check if Ad Skipping add-on applied
Customers can find out whether or not they have the Ad Skipping service by heading to the bottom on the home screen on Sky Glass or Sky Stream Puck,
Then clicking "My Sky", then "Your products"
To cancel the Ad skipping completely and to ensure you do not get charged, it may be best to contact Sky themselves.
