Sky News and ITN presenter Rae Stewart dies aged 56 as colleagues pay tribute

News broadcaster Rae Stewart has died aged 56 with tributes pouring in for the STV Westminster correspondent.

He previously worked as a reporter for over 20 years for ITN, Sky News and GMTV before becoming a communications consultant.

His former colleague Stephen Jardine announced the news of his death after an illness on Tuesday morning.
