A Sky News anchor was taken aback when none other than Sir Rod Stewart called into the show.
Sarah-Jane Mee led a phone-in where people were invited to give their views on the NHS crisis. One woman shared her heartbreaking experience after her dad died following five months waiting to be discharged from hospital.
Another woman said she had been on a waiting list for an appointment for three years. She told Sarah-Jane she was "losing the will to live".

Later, Sir Rod called the programme. He said he "often has it on in the background" while he "works on his model railroad". In a passionate speech, he then called for the Government to step down.
The 78-year-old said: "I personally have been a Tory for a long time but I think this government should stand down now and give the Labour Party a go, this is heartbreaking. In all my years in this country I've never seen it so bad... change the bloody government."
Sir Rod also said he would like to donate enough money to pay for "10 or 20 scans" because "people are dying". He said he uses private medical treatment, and recounted how his last visit to a clinic saw the waiting room "sat empty".
Before he left the call, he told Sarah-Jane he was a "big fan" and even sang a snippet of Maggie May down the phone to her. Sarah-Jane said: "I was wondering how we were going to end the show on a positive note, and Rod Stewart has delivered".
