Sky has launched a TV box which plugs into the back of the television and will operate using the household WiFi.
The new service is called Sky Stream and is being offered without a lengthy contract for the first time.
The media giant is looking to move away from satellite dishes, with a more accessible TV box which lets you watch 150 channels and 100,000 hours of aggregated content.
Stephen van Rooyen, Executive Vice President & CEO, UK & Europe, said: "Sky’s always reinvented the TV experience and offered the best content – but it’s not always been accessible to everyone.
"There couldn’t be a better time to launch our latest innovation using the Sky Glass Platform – whether you want to stream House of the Dragon, Gangs of London or Stranger Things, Sky Stream has it all."
It is a move, says Sky, that will attract those who do not like the sight of a dish on the side of their house and it will appeal to renters who are not allowed to have dishes erected.
According to the company, it will be the most affordable way to get Sky TV and Netflix together, costing less than £1 a day.
Potential customers are being offered various packages, including an 18-month contract, for which subscribers can get Sky Ultimate TV and Netflix Basic for £26 a month. Those who prefer a 30-day rolling contract, the cost will be £29 a month.
The set-up fee is £20 on a contract and £39.95 without one. The company is also offering deals for those wanting extra devices in their homes.
The Sky Stream product builds on the firm's Sky Glass service, which launched last year. It uses the same system, which is regularly updated.
"It's got all the same smart features, all the things you love, like restart, universal search, playlist features," said Liz Wynn, Sky's Managing Director for TV.
