Sky services went down on Saturday (June 11) night. Internet users reported that there were issues with their connections.
Down Detector, a website which aggregates users' concerns, reported shortly before 8pm: "User reports indicate problems at Sky."
It said as of 7.27pm there were 123 reports of a fault in services. Downdetector only reports an incident when the number of problem reports is significantly higher than the typical volume for that time of day.
Sky offers satellite television service as well as broadband internet and home phone service. Sky also operates a pay-TV service, including the Sky Sports channel which broadcasts Premier League games, which are also availble on the Sky Go video streaming service.
According to Down Detector, 92% of complaints were about internet provision.

At the time of writing, Sky Help Team - the customer service account - had not responded to queries on Twitter.
