Skoda Peaq Claims 582 Miles On One Charge, But There Is A Catch

  • The seven-seat Skoda Peaq 90 covered 582 miles on a single charge, setting a range record for a seven-seat electric SUV.
  • The production model averaged just 9.2 kWh/100 km, beating its official 402 mile WLTP range by almost 45%.
  • The record run from the Czech Republic to the Dutch coast was supervised by TÜV SÜD and used a standard 91-kWh battery.

Skoda sent two of its own employees on a 936-kilometer (582-mile) drive from Mladá Boleslav, Czechia, to Zandvoort, Netherlands, on a single charge. The car did not stop once.
