There are just over two months until Christmas, which means many people only have two or possibly three paydays left to put towards the cost of the festive season. Making Christmas budgets work harder is on the nation’s mind as research by Tesco found that almost one in five people are feeling more financial pressure this Christmas compared to previous years, due to the anticipated cost, and this rises to 22% amongst 25–44-year-olds.
