A tragic plane crash has claimed the lives of several individuals, including prominent figures in the world of figure skating. Among the victims were Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov, a married pair of skating champions who had achieved great success in their careers. The duo, who were the 1994 world figure skating champions in pairs, had relocated to the US from Russia and had established themselves as respected coaches in the skating community.
Their son, Maxim Naumov, who is also a talented skater, recently showcased his skills by securing 4th place at the US men’s figure skating championships. The loss of Shishkova and Naumov, along with the other victims, has sent shockwaves through the skating world.
