Six growing tech companies have announced investments into Birmingham which will collectively create more than 70 new jobs. The move will span the fintech, smart energy and edtech sectors.
Australian smart energy firm carbonTRACK opened its UK head office in Birmingham in 2019 and now expects to add 15 staff in the city next year while Birmingham-based mobile payment provider Voilo is adding eight new employees to its team over the next 18 months.
Apptegy is a US edtech company specialising in website and app development for schools and is now planning to open a UK HQ in Birmingham, initially creating eight roles.
