Six stars 'quit Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins after suffering horrific injuries' in new series

Chaos has reportedly engulfed the new upcoming series of the Channel 4 hit show Celebrity SAS Who Dares as six stars have allegedly been forced to quit after suffering horrific injuries. According to reports, three of the stars have been taken to hospital in one day.

It is said to be the biggest number of medical discharges the programme has ever seen since it first aired back in 2015, the Mirror reports. Set in Thailand, the 2022 series has reportedly already left six out of the several participants hurt amid the show's gruelling and punishing regime.

As reported by The Sun, former footballer Jermaine Pennant, The Wanted singer Siva Kaneswaran and Paralympic cyclist Jon-Allan Butterworth have all been said to have passed out while taking part in an intensive marching test. The three celebs crumbled under the pressure while they were forced to walk in the scorching heat with heavy bags on their back.

Due to their injuries, doctors reportedly insisted Siva, Jermaine, and Jon-Allan could not stay any longer and were forced to leave the show.

Meanwhile, ex Love Island star Montana Brown has been said to have suffered severe pain after dislocating her kneecap. Rugby star Gareth Thomas was reportedly also in agony after pulling a hamstring muscle. The two are said to have now been discharged from the series.

Also allegedly medically discharged from the show was former TOWIE star James Argent. The reality TV star was discharged by doctors after he contracted trench foot and jungle rot while filming in Thailand.

He has become the sixth contestant to quit for medical reasons.

Lifting the lid on the shock injuries, an insider told The Sun: "They are celebrities, not soldiers."

They added: "They aren’t used to the hot, harsh conditions and being pushed to their limits. The people who fell ill and were injured were not unfit or out of shape. Siva, Jermaine and Jon-Allan are all fit blokes but all individually blacked out and had heat stroke.

"James’s issues with his feet were awful too. He was in agony as the infection took hold because of the wet boots and he could suffer for months now."

The Thailand series of Celebrity SAS is due to wrap filming in the next couple of weeks. The hotly-anticipated series will air on Channel 4 next year.
