The opening weekend of the Six Nations was an exciting feast of rugby with results going largely as expected but with no shortage of drama in-between.
Bonus-point wins for France and Ireland over Italy and Wales respectively will have been profitable for players whereas England vs Scotland was an ultimately cagey affair.
The top-ranked player of round one, 'Mr Rugby', defied many tipsters' choice of world player of the year Antione Dupont as captain, instead opting for Gabin Villière, who scored a hat-trick earning 125.4 points which were doubled to 250.8.
Another smart call was the inclusion of Scotland's replacement scrum-half Ben White as supersub, the former England U20 international scored a try when on as a head-injury replacement in the first-half of the Calcutta Cup.
Supersubs have their score tripled, provided they are a replacement in the game, if they start of don't come onto the field, then their score will be halved along with the other substitutes.
Ireland vs Wales proved to be a profitable encounter for 'Mr Rugby' also with Andrew Conway, Garry Ringrose, Jonny Sexton & Jack Conan offering a mammoth 234 points between them at an average of 58.5.
