Irish Life Health
Two months ago Irish Life Health said there will be an increase of 5% on its health insurance premiums, which took effect on July 1.
Increase in toll charges throughout country
The Department of Transport and Transport Infrastructure Ireland began increasing tolls on July 1, due to "inflation hikes."
Prices are to increase to their maximum on the M50 and the eight Public Private Partnership routes.
Dublin Port Tunnel will not see any increase.
The M50 tolls are due to go up by 30x for cars that don't use tags, with the new price to be €3.50.
Cars with video accounts will see a 20c hike, €2.70 to €2.90.
Cars with tags will also see an increase of 20c, with the new price at €2.30.
On the M1, M7, M8, N6, N25 at Waterford and N18 Limerick Tunnel, tolls for cars will increase from €2 to €2.10. The M3 car tolls will rise 10c to €1.60.
On the M4 there will be an increase of 20c for cars to €3.20
Virgin Media
June was the final month for Virgin Media Television and Broadband customers to be charged at their normal amount.
The 2.4pc increase means that the cost for those with broadband only packages from Virgin Media will go up by €48 each year.
Electricity and gas
Hundreds of thousands of people that had discounts for their electricity and gas between June and September 2022, are no longer receiving their discounted unit prices, due to the expiration of the deal.
However, that means people who did this will see their energy increasing as they return to pre-discount rates.
Bin collections
Greyhound Recycling are increasing their annual charges.
From this month, the company will increase charges to customers by €3 per month to €24.47.
Panda Waste are also increasing their fees and outlined a new charging structure that will see the quarterly charges climb from just over €75 to €83.
