Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been embroiled in scandal after scandal since quitting the UK for a new life in America, from tell-all bombshell interviews to high-profile legal cases.
It's all been extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing for the Queen and the rest of The Firm, and their decision not to return home for big family events - including Prince Philip's memorial service - means there have been limited opportunities to discuss them
Until now.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a secret visit to Windsor this week ahead of their trip to The Hague for the Invictus Games, meeting with the Monarch and Prince Charles for "clear the air talks".
It's only the second time Harry has visited his family in two years, and the first time Meghan has seen any of them since the couple announced they were quitting royal life.
But what might they have talked about during the short face-to-face meeting on their way to the Invictus Games in The Hague? Here we take a look...
Still no Lilibet meeting and christening debate
The Sussexes' named their daughter after the Queen, giving their second-born the nickname used by the late Prince Philip.
But despite being born last June, the Monarch is yet to meet her great-granddaughter so there is a chance she may have asked if she will get a cuddle any time soon.
Due to her age, the Queen doesn't travel abroad any more so a meeting would involve Meghan and Harry bringing their children to the UK, which Harry has said he doesn't want to do due to rows over security.

If his stance on this doesn't chance, the Queen may never get to meet little Lili, despite her being eighth in line to the throne.
There have also been many rumours about Lilibet's christening in recent months, with many royal fans left wondering if she will get the traditional welcome to the church.
This is very important for the royal family as the Monarch is Defender of the Faith and Supreme Governor of the Church of England.
The celebrations are normally a big family affair and official photos are usually shared with fans.
However when it came to Archie's christening, Meghan and Harry raised eyebrows by doing things their own way and cutting the public and press out. Photographers weren't invited to take pictures of guests arriving and all the details - including the Godparents - were kept secret.
But it's not known if the couple will decide to give Lilibet a traditional royal christening, and if so when it will take place.
Royal kids are normally christened quite early but Lili will be celebrating her first birthday in June.
Oprah interview - royal racist and mental health
The secret meeting was the first time Meghan has seen the Queen since she made a number of bombshell claims in her interview with Oprah Winfrey.
There is a chance the Monarch would have used the meeting to clear the air on some of the distressing issues raised, after releasing a statement saying she was "saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging" the Duchess' time in the royal spotlight had been.
Among the most shocking were her allegations that someone in the royal family asked questions about how dark Archie's skin would be. Harry later said he would never reveal which of his relatives it was, but said it wasn't the Queen or Prince Philip.
The statement caused huge upset across the world and saw Prince William questioned on whether the royal family was racist. He replied: "We are very much not a racist family."
Meghan also said she was denied help for her mental health during her time in the royal family, despite having suicidal thoughts.
She told Oprah she "didn't want to be alive anymore" and when asked directly if she was thinking of self-harm and having suicidal thoughts at some stage, Meghan replied "yes".
She says Harry "cradled her" when she told him, and he later admitted it send him to a "dark place".
Meghan claims she asked the palace to seek professional help, and said she no longer had access to personal effects such as her passport after joining the family.
However she says she was told she couldn't get help.
In the interview, Harry also accused Charles and William of being trapped and said his father had cut him off financially. Meghan accused Kate of making her cry and said she wasn't supported when she joined the royal family, saying she had to Google the words to the National Anthem.
After the interview, the Queen released an unusual statement addressing the claims.
She said: "The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.
"The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.
"Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members."
Harry's memoir
Potentially the biggest elephant in the room is Harry's upcoming memoir, in which he's set to give his account of life within the royal family.
This goes against the Queen's desire to keep private affairs private and could be extremely embarrassing for The Firm.
He's understood to have received a £15million advance on the book, which is due out later this year.
While it's unlikely that Harry will hit out at his grandmother in the book, many experts believe he will hold no punches when it comes to his step-mother Camilla, who earlier this year the Monarch put forward as the future Queen Consort.
Ex-Vanity Fair editor Tina Brown, who was friends with Diana, says Harry "can't stand" his father's second wife and doesn't want her to be Queen.
Why they missed Prince Philip memorial
Even though yesterday's meeting was the first time back in the UK for Meghan since leaving for America, Harry has actually been back twice.
One of those times was for the funeral for his late grandfather Prince Philip, who died aged 99 last April.
As his funeral was hit with Covid-restrictions, a huge memorial service was held at Westminster Abbey last month attended by 1,800 - including nearly all of the royals.
However, Harry and Meghan both skipped the event - with Harry in particular coming in for blunt criticism for failing to attend to honour his grandfather and support his grandmother.
Maybe the Queen and Charles broached the subject of them not coming to the UK for the event during their talks?
Rift with Prince William
One royal who was absent from the Sussex's meeting with the Queen and Charles was Harry's older brother Prince William.
There has been much made of the rift between the two brothers with their frosty relationship reportedly sparked by William's concerns over Harry's fast-developing relationship with Meghan ahead of their royal wedding in 2018.
The tense row quickly boiled over - with Harry claiming his brother was "trapped" within the royal system during the bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey after quitting as a senior royal.
It's been reported that the relationship between the two brothers has still not recovered, and speaking on a documentary last year, royal expert Emily Nash said the falling out between the two brothers will be "hard" for the Queen to bear.
Might both Her Majesty and the brother's father Charles discussed Harry's rift with William - and urged him to take the first step in burying the hatchet?
Security issue
Another topic of conversation may have been Harry's ongoing legal challenge against the Home Office regarding his and his family' security when he is in the UK.
He is bringing the claim after being told he would no longer be given the same degree of personal protective security when visiting from the US, despite offering to pay for it himself.
The duke wants to bring his children to visit, but he and his family are “unable to return to his home” because it is too dangerous, his legal representative has said.
The couple’s decision to attend the Invctus Games in The Hague but skip Prince Philip's memorial service had previously been blasted by palace insiders after Harry claimed it was “too dangerous” to travel to the UK.
Meanwhile, a source previously said that the battle between the Queen's grandson and the government was "the last thing she wants to get drawn into".
So could it be that the Queen and Charles brought up the ongoing security battle during the meeting?
