M. Sivasankar, former Principal Secretary to the Kerala Chief Minister, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in the LIFE Mission corruption case, moved a bail plea before the Kerala High Court on Tuesday. Mr. Sivasankar has sought bail for undergoing medical treatment. The Special Court, considering the cases related to the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, had earlier rejected his bail plea. The investigation agency arrested him on February 14.
