Virgin chief and tycoon Sir Richard Branson is opening a luxury hotel in the Mediterranean holiday hotspot of Majorca. The destination is a favourite with UK holidaymakers and the new venue should welcome its first guests next summer.
The 28-bedroom hotel is situated on the Son Bunyola Estate in the stunning Tramuntana region of the island. Already under construction, it consists of the restoration of a historic Finca and surrounding landscape on the beautiful Son Bunyola Estate, part of the Virgin Limited Edition portfolio.
It will be known as the Son Bunyola Hotel and form part of a spectacular 810-acre estate. The hotel will retain all the original features of the Finca, bringing it back to life as a stunning new hotel in one of the most prestigious and protected areas with sweeping views of the Mediterranean coastline.
