Sir Paul McCartney’s ex-wife Heather Mills has been left temporarily on crutches after breaking part of her prosthetic leg brace in an alpine skiing accident in Austria.

The former model, entrepreneur and Paralympic skier, 57, described the incident as an “unlucky” start to 2026 after equipment failure caused her to crash while skiing in Hinterglemm.
