Liverpool legend Sir Kenny Dalglish has sent a message to Reds fans ahead of tonight’s Champions League final against Real Madrid.
The Scot won three European cups while a player at Liverpool including in 1980/81 where the Reds defeated Real Madrid in the final in Paris. He was also part of European-Cup winning teams in 1977/78 and 1983/84 while at Anfield. And Sir Kenny addressed Liverpool fans while on stage at the Liverpool fan park in Paris city centre.
He said: “What a wonderful way to finish the season lifting the European Cup.” Sir Kenny’s message was greeted with cheers by Reds fans before serenading their ‘king’ with his famous song.

The Reds fan park in Cours De Vincennes in Paris city centre has a special array of Liverpool names to provide music and entertainment throughout the afternoon in the build-up to the game, which kicks off at 9pm local time.
Entry is free to the fan park and includes music and entertainment from Jamie Webster, The Lightning Seeds, Cast frontman John Power plus Kieo, Ben Burke and Timo Tierney, and a guest feature from The Anfield Wrap.
