Sir Jim Ratcliffe interest
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has registered his interest in buying Manchester United. The 70-year-old, one of Britain’s richest men, has officially entered the bidding process to buy the club from the Glazers.
The billionaire had initially appeared to throw cold water on a sell-up by the Glazers, telling a conference hosted by the Financial Times last year: "I've met Joel and Avram and they are the nicest people, I have to say, they are proper gentlemen. They don't want to sell it. It's owned by the six children of the father and they don't want to sell it."

Weghorst was given a lift by Christian Eriksen before meeting up with the rest of the United squad for their flight down to London.
The Dutch international began training with his new side on Sunday, and Ten Hag has already entertained the possibility of him being involved against Palace.
