Sir Chris Hoy has spoken about enduring an “excruciating” new treatment to prevent hair loss for the sake of his young son, as he laid bare the heartbreak of his terminal cancer diagnosis for the first time.
The six-time Olympic champion revealed last month he had “two to four” years to live after being diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer which had spread to his shoulder, pelvis, hip, ribs and spine.
