Sir Alex Ferguson, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt enjoyed plenty of success during their time at Old Trafford. And at least one of the former Manchester United stars appeared to celebrating yet another victory as they were pictured together at Chester Races today.
Looking very dapper in suits and ties, Sir Alex, Butt and Scholes were photographed watching the races from a balcony on the final day of Chester's May Festival. And a beaming Butt looked like he was cheering on a winner as Fergie and Scholes watched on straight-faced.

If the two former midfielders were looking for tips, they could have done than ask their old boss. Sir Alex is a huge racing fan and owns several top horses.
Last month the steeplechaser Clan Des Obeaux, which Sir Alex co-owns with his friends Paul Barber and Ged Mason, triumphed in the Grade 1 Betway Bowl Chase at the Grand National Meeting at Aintree and took home a £140,000 winner's cheque. And in March he was at the Cheltenham Festival to see another of his horses, the Dan Skelton-trained Protektorat, run in the Gold Cup .
