Singer Una Healy ditches dating apps and turns to healing crystal to help her find love

Singer Una Healy said she is ready to find love after finally making peace with her agonising divorce from Ben Foden.

The mum-of-two split from the former England rugby union player in 2018 after he admitted cheating on her.

But despite confessing she had regrets, Una, 41, said she would no longer change a thing about her life – including her high-profile divorce.

She added: “I honestly would not change a thing now.”

Una also said she is using crystal energy to find a partner.

She added: “I’ve just bought a massive rose quartz crystal and put it by the side of my bed to attract love.

“I am single and have not got anyone special in my life, hence why I have the crystal.

“But I am getting used to being on my own. I have learned you can be whole and on your own. I don’t need anyone to complete me. I don’t need a relationship to be happy.”

Una and Ben, 37, married in 2012 and have two children – Aoife Belle, 10, and seven-year-old Tadhg.

After the split she moved back to Ireland with the kids while Ben lives in New York with new wife Jackie Belanoff Smith, 37, and their two-year-old daughter Farrah.

Una, who has been promoting her new single This Is Your Life, which was released this month, added: “It can be tough but you have to learn how to let go of things, not dwell on things or carry bitterness around with you.

“You have to let go of pain but you also have to go through it sometimes.

“There is no shame to feel down or to struggle. You have to dust yourself off and try again.”

Una, who had 13 top 10 hit singles with girl group the Saturdays, is now focusing on her solo music, her TV and radio career and fashion shoe collection.

But she is no longer trying to map out her life, explaining: “You can set goals and have dreams but you never know what is around the corner.

“You cannot prepare yourself for a lot of things – you just have to do your best. Life is so precious but it can also be tough.

“You have some really dark days but it’s normal to feel like that.”

Una revealed how she had tried dating apps during lockdown but she now prefers to put her faith in her healing crystal.

She added: “To have a romantic relationship isn’t the be-all and end-all right now. I have two beautiful kids, who I have so much love for and they give me so much love back.

“A lot of people are unhappy in their relationship and it is so much better to be single.

“I do hope to meet someone to share my life with but I am not going to force it. I am so busy with the kids or working. I don’t have time to look for love.

“I just have to trust that someone will find me. And the crystal will attract him eventually.”
