Singer Tom Jones pictured with walking stick as he heads out in Denmark

Sir Tom Jones has been pictured with a walking stick as he left a performance in Denmark.

The singer had just performed in Copenhagen, Denmark on Friday in his Surrounded By Time tour when he was spotted.

This is the first time the 82-year-old had been seen since he was forced to deny rumours he had cancelled his show in Budapest last minute due to collapsing.

Sir Tom was leaving Copenhagen's Tivoli Gardens in his outfit he had worn on stage.

He wore a patterned black shirt with white line detailing along with a pair of black trousers.

The star finished off his outfit with black shoes and a black face mask.

He held on to a black walking stick as people ushered him to the car.

Tom got into the car and was waved off by some of his team members.

He was spotted just a week after cancelling his Budapest show when he said he had contracted viral laryngitis.

The It's Not Unusual singer was rumoured to have collapsed ahead of the show but he shut these allegations down.

He is currently touring across the UK and Europe.

Tom released a statement via his Instagram shutting down any collapse rumours.

He explained that he had a sore through ahead of the show and was diagnosed by a doctor with viral laryngitis.

He said: "Hello to all concerned. I travelled last night from the UK to Budapest and woke this morning with an uncomfortable throat.

"A specialist came to visit and diagnosed 'viral laryngitis'. He strongly advised postponing this evening's show and prescribed medication and vocal rest."

He added: 'I did not 'collapse' anywhere at any time, that is pure rumour. Hopefully the inflammation will calm soon as I am looking forward to continuing my wonderful summer tour."

Tom explained that the show had already been rescheduled and will go ahead in a few weeks time.

"Unfortunately the show had to be cancelled at the last minute, and for that I am very sorry. However, the show in Budapest has been rescheduled and will take place on August 16. Thanks again for all your kind concern."

Rumours occured as a source told MailOnline : "Tom Jones collapsed, so his concert was cancelled tonight and doctors were called to the stadium. His management has set August 16th as the new date for the concert."

But this speculation has now been shut down.

Following the health update on Instagram, followers have rushed to wish Sir Tom a speedy recovery.

One person said: "Thank goodness. we were all so worried. Get well Love you, Tom."

While another wrote: "Take care of yourself. I want to see you in Toronto," as a third commented: "Take care of yourself Tom I wish you a speedy recovery, all my love for you, blessings."

A fourth said: "So glad you have taken doctor's advice. Get well soon wishes sent your way!"
