Singer and songwriter, Lewis Capaldi, shocked BBC Breakfast presenters by making a crude comment in what he described as a “breakdown in communication.”
The 25-year-old Bathgate lad was doing a live interview on Saturday morning where to promote his new single ‘Forget Me.’ But the cheeky chap left presenters Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt aghast when he misheard a comment made by Naga.
At the tail end of the interview, Lewis and Charlie were complimenting one another on each other's hair, which led to Naga asking if the duo would “like a room.” Not properly hearing what she said, he crassly responded “I thought you said ‘rim.’”

Naga was taken aback and began laughing after the comment and used her professional know-how to end the interview early. She added that the pair would have a word with Lewis on the couch, the Record reports.
Lewis recently revealed that he had been diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome earlier this month in a brave share with his fans.
But Twitter users reacted to his comment this morning.
One wrote: "It was such a brilliant interview, thanks for that start to Saturday."
Another added: "I've just had to explain what that is to my Mum on her 76th birthday because I was laughing too hard at this she wanted to see the clip. It's not the gift I wanted to give her."
A third added: "So funny this morning. After the past few weeks, that's exactly what was needed."
Lewis Capaldi became one of the most famous singers in the UK with his smash hit song Somebody You Loved, which was the highest selling single in the UK in 2019.
He clinched his third UK Number 1 with his latest song Forget Me earlier this month.
