In his opening monologue, Liu playfully joked about the success of the movie 'Oppenheimer' and its juxtaposition with 'Barbie,' in which he starred. He even touched on the challenges faced by an Asian host at major awards shows, a nod to Koy's recent stint at the Golden Globes.
