“Celebrity Jeopardy!” has quite the cast of competitors.
Ray Romano, Constance Wu, B.J. Novak and Simu Liu are among the stars who will appear on the upcoming question-and-answer game show, Entertainment Weekly reported.
“It’s the OG ‘Jeopardy!’ with celebrities,” host Mayim Bialik said in a preview published by EW. “Let’s hope they’ve been reading more than screenplays.”
“Celebrity Jeopardy!” premieres Sept. 25 on ABC, serving as a new prime-time tournament. “Jeopardy!” has often featured celebrity editions over the years in which stars compete for charity.
The former “Big Bang Theory” actress Bialik also splits the hosting duties of the main “Jeopardy!” broadcasts with Ken Jennings, who set a record on the show in 2004 by winning 74 consecutive games.
Liu rose to widespread fame last year starring as the title superhero in the Marvel movie “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” while “The Office” alum Novak released his directorial debut, the mystery-comedy “Vengeance,” last month.
Romano, an actor and stand-up comedian from Queens, starred on the sitcom “Everybody Loves Raymond” from 1996 to 2005. He premiered his feature directorial debut, “Somewhere in Queens,” at the Tribeca Festival in June.
Wu is known for her roles in the romantic comedy “Crazy Rich Asians” and the series “Fresh Off The Boat.”
Others set to appear on “Celebrity Jeopardy!” include “Superbad” star Michael Cera, comedian-actors Patton Oswalt, Iliza Shlesinger and Aisha Tyler, and WNBA star Candace Parker.
