With fuel prices at an all time high as the cost of living crisis deepens, many people will be looking for quick ways to save money.
The average UK petrol price has surpassed 148p for the first time.
According to the AA, petrol jumped to 148.02p per litre on Sunday - rising above the previous record high of 147.72p on November 21 last year.

Adding to the misery for motorists, diesel costs also rose to a new record high of 151.57 pence per litre.
RAC fuel spokesperson, Simon Williams, said petrol prices had hit a 'frightening new high.'
But according to the RAC, there are six simple ways you can save fuel which can ultimately save you money, BirminghamLive reports.
1. Be gentle with the accelerator and use a high gear
The RAC advises that gentle acceleration is important in fuel-efficient driving and the 'the biggest secret' to achieving high miles per gallon is driving in the highest possible gear for your vehicle while staying in the speed limit.
Motorists are urged to remember that the faster an engine spins, the more fuel it uses.
2. Dress for the weather
It may be winter and motorists are more likely to crank up the heating but using the heating and air conditioning uses engine power and therefore fuel consumption.
Instead, it is advised that motorists dress for the weather.
3. Empty your boot
The more weight you're carrying in your car, the more fuel you'll be using.
4. Having a roof rack
According to statistics from the Energy Saving Trust, an empty roof rack will add 16% drag to your car when travelling at 75mph and a roof box will add 39%.
Both make your vehicle much less fuel efficient.
5. Keep your car well looked after
The RAC suggests that regular maintenance and servicing will improve the efficiency of your car, including making sure your tyres are inflated to the correct pressure.
Underinflated and overinflated tyres can affect your fuel economy.
6. Keep moving
Slowing down and having to accelerate again uses more fuel, so motorists are advised to drive smoothly and keep their car moving.
The RAC said that when slowing down, it’s important to remain in gear as the fuel cut-off switch in a fuel injection engine is then activated, meaning virtually no fuel is used while braking.
Driving up hills also destroys fuel economy so motorists are advised to accelerate a little before you reach a hill then ease off as you drive up.
These simple tips could help save you money when it comes to your car.
The ECHO previously shared images which show a significant price difference at two Esso petrol stations just a few miles apart.
The Esso facility in Northway in Maghull advertised unleaded petrol at 141.9 pence per litre, while Diesel was being sold at 147.9 pence per litre, compared to four miles away in Country Road in Ormskirk, with unleaded petrol priced at 149.9 pence per litre, with Diesel at 152.9 pence a litre.
When it comes to unleaded petrol, that is an eight pence per litre difference, which at a time of soaring living costs could have a major impact on families.
